Today is National “Love Your Pet” Day, so while I have many pets, here are the real stars of my page. I love my Foxy because our bond is like none other, between hoggo and human. I love Maple and her precious toe beans because she was my first-ever pet, she was my mom’s, and she’s such a sweet cuddle buddy. I love my Mari girl because she’s crazy, bossy, sassy, and truly does seem to love me endlessly. I love my Maggie Moo because she’s so hyper, so loving, so playful, so sweet, and so fun. A #foxhedgieupdate for everyone: We got home from the vet about an hour ago. For those that are new, Fox was a part of an eight-hedgie drop off from a baaaaaad situation. There was a hair wrapped around her leg and the bottom half of her leg died, rotted, and began detatching itself. Anyway, the vet said that her leg is so infected, and that he is surprised she has made it this long in this condition. He told me she needs surgery to remove the leg as soon as possible, so she is scheduled for her amputation on Thursday. He has known of this situation for a while, and offered to look at her for free, as well as give a discount on surgery. She will have a good life with three legs. So please keep her in your prayers!!! She definitely needs them. Here is a photo of #maplemeows looking ahead, and not in the past. 💗

Today is Ginger Cat Appreciation Day! Here are my two favourite little gingers, Jasper and Maple. Jasper is my boyfriend’s sister’s cat. He is such a beautiful, old boy! He wouldn’t hesitate to beat you to a pulp though. And Maple is my absolute favourite ginger cat ever! Maple is sassy, snobby, sweet, and stealthy. I feel like I never share her enough, but Maple isn’t really one for the camera. She’s a sassy floof. She is lazy, bossy, and sneaky. She loves treats, but hates high-quality food. She loves it when you scratch her butt, until she doesn’t. She likes to make me jealous by coming down from her tree to sit on my boyfriend’s lap, but only when I come out. Otherwise, she doesn’t even care 😂 She doesn’t know any tricks like her sister. She loves belly rubs. In the mornings, when I wake up, she stops what she is doing and follows me into the washroom for her morning scritches. She’s not playful... like, at all. Anyone else have a cat that will claim random objects after having literally no interest for years? Maple claimed a basket that was literally in a toss pile... after I’ve had it for three years and she’s shown no interest before 😂 Also, Mari got a new (to her) cat tree. Now she has three.
