God I think, my favorite thing in strikers is the fact that they firlmly establish the mona-ryuji dynamic. It doesnt overstay its welcome, any jabs they have are CLEARLY comedic and when its not its handled seriously and treats both of them as equal

My biggest issue with P5 was how (at least in the english version) Morgana feels like he has this right to just be absolutely ruthless yet the second ryuji takes a jab at it this cat crumbles (I think its both an issue on translation and voice direction making mona come off more aggressive than they normally are in nav lines) that said, nothing excuses the break up arc. thats STILL bad.

In strikers when they clown on each other its in more comedic situations, and usually there is an equal amount of blame given and theres more times where they WORK together as opposied to mocking one another. if anything they riff one another so much better its so GOOOOD
