Daffodil: What's the most thoughtful present you've ever received?This is really hard because I've received a lot of really thoughtful gifts because the people who love me know how sentimental I am. I'm leaning toward the time a friend gave me a stuffed husky with a note attached when he moved and the note was about how he chose the husky for me because they're really nurturing and maternal and protective like me. But this Christmas my best friend gave me an Alex and Ani bracelet (we recently watched the Naomi Campbell modeling show The Face together and it was one of their sponsors and we've been obsessed since) with a music note and it was from a charity collection and means nostalgic/energetic/soulful (the first of which is probably one of the first words I'd use to describe myself)

Violet: Do you like where you're from?Absolutely! I love Boston. Most of the time, at least. It's liberal. It's small enough to get from place to place easily (basically every part of Boston is an hour away at most by train/bus, in actual Boston that is, not the little "greater Boston area" parts) but big enough that I can keep distance from people/places that harbor bad memories most of the time. It's quiet at night but you can find things to do during the day. I live near a beach.
