Question for asexuals/ace specs by me (also ace)

How is the conversation of consent different for asexuals and how can we come to understand it for ourselves?

I was in sexual assault training today and in defining consent they said it is an ethusiastic yes wo force or coersion. But for me "enthusiasm" about having sex is not how i feel. Its more for me an indifference and the language i use for consent is different and what people might construe as not consent.

I guess what I'm wonder is what is the asexual conversation around consent?

Okay hear me out here for a second, but I don’t want Fundy and Ranboo to make up quite yet. Soon yes, but not yet.

I want Fundy who is finally okay, not perfect, he still has plenty of issues, but he’s okay. During the year and a half (?) he spent away, he learnt to better understand and healthily deal with his issues. He’s trying old relationships again and seems happy. He starts talking about wanting to talk with Ranboo. Fundy misses the kid that was practically his little brother. They ended on bad terms, but Fundy wants to be at least friends again.

On the other side of the server, Ranboo is spiraling, from the fake prison visit and his apparent real one all the way to the idea that he may have always been helping Dream. Ranboo needs an out. He barely trusts himself and spends more and more time enderwalking. As a final act of fear, he packs up as little belongs as he can and plans to run. His own grasp of reality is tipped on its head. Ranboo is even more distressed and confused than he was during Doomsday.

Fundy is wandering around central Dream SMP. The vines getting more and more annoying as they cover more and more of the prime walk. When all of a sudden Ranboo interseps with Fundy. Fundy, already having wanted to speak to Ranboo, stops to try and talk to him. Ranboo stops dead in his track, Fundy was the last person he expected to try and talk to him. Through this it becomes clear that Ranboo is really only halfway there. He is mixing Ender with English and is making tons of enderman noises outside of that. Through the power of improv and good heartfelt conversations, Ranboo is calmed down.

Afterwards they go to the Ice Cream Shop. They still have a lot of work to do and so much more to talk about, but at least now they are on the closest level to friends as they have been in a while. There are many conversations to be had in the Future, but that’s then and this is now. They just talk, not about anything too serious and it’s all lighthearted. They are testing boundaries again and on thin ice with each other, but in a way it’s definitely better than before. Ranboo opens his memory book and moves Fundy into unsure, not that he will stay there for long. This one interaction lead to them first planning on hanging out at least once a week to Ranboo and Fundy hanging out nearly as much as they use to. It’s better now, everything is still fragile, but they manage.

They don’t trust each other in full for a long time more, but they care deeply for one another. Fundy grows even more confident in himself as he studies more and more about the egg from the sidelines, and Ranboo doesn’t enderwalk or have blackouts as often anymore.

idk how to describe but c! ranboo has the same vibes as a pacifist run after you complete the genocide route where you gain characters trust first in undertale. like you feel bad and almost like worried with little like hints laid out. idk if this makes any sense. i just thought about this after starting my first pacifist run in a while

Ranboo versus Snowchester

So I have been seeing a lot of posts clowning on Ranboo for saying that Snowchester is a government, and I swear I do not think that any of you have ever took the time to realize that that is literally his perspective as an unreliable narrator.

Like what Ranboo knows about government is extremely limited to New L’manberg. Unlike any other person on the server, he has no bases for is and isn’t truly a government. In his eyes, he sees that Tubbo drafted a Deceleration of Independence which for most people would start to connect to a country and then later a government. Ranboo sees that Jack Manifold and Tubbo keep the nukes secret from the other members of the commune. Looking from a perspective that is completely Ranboo, taking into account his limited knowledge, if really does look like a government. In Ranboo’s brain, it doesn’t make sense that Tubbo and the rest of Snowchester need to be Independent. Snowchester also has clearly defined boarders and a flag which if I didn’t know any better, I myself would assume it’s a goverment

Now let’s take the other aspect. Ranboo is one of the most unreliable narrators on the whole server. Of course he doesn’t see his place in the Artic as a government. Not only are Technoblade and Phil very anti-government, Ranboo doesn’t even know about the syndicate. In Ranboo’s brain, he is just a neighbor to them. He thinks that they are done and as soon as he heard they might not be done he started panicking. Unlike Snowchester, they also don’t have a Declaration of Independence.

i can’t find the screenshot but the friend list thing in ranboos newer memory book. but like would anyone like an analysis of why i think characters are in the section their in only based on ranboos perspective of them. i watch all of the people on this list so i can talk about why ranboos perspective is flawed based on their actual character.

ranboo just has an interesting list and i think i know why it’s the way it is. no matter the response ill make one but ya know i would like some public opinions first. if i make one it should be out sometime saturday
