Fascinating... Driven by an ancient memory far older than recorded history, millions march toward a river where death waits silently beneath the surface. To risk everything just to keep moving forward—what a beautifully cruel masterpiece of survival.

I saw images of Wide Mouth ( the absolutely massive and bulky Nile crocodile that has been seen frequently in the Mara River )

And i couldn't help but do a quick lil art piece.

© “ Sundowner with the Lions” At the end of the day we decided to drive along the Mara river to see what animals might be looking to get a drink or cross the river and we came across a group of 4 lions that were relaxing and taking turns eating this Zebra carcass. As time went on more and more lions came out of the bushes to share in the dinner. We went from 4 lions, to five to at least 6 lions and there may have been as many as seven as we watched the sun begin to set! This shot was the most visceral moment of our trip.
