© “ Sundowner with the Lions” At the end of the day we decided to drive along the Mara river to see what animals might be looking to get a drink or cross the river and we came across a group of 4 lions that were relaxing and taking turns eating this Zebra carcass. As time went on more and more lions came out of the bushes to share in the dinner. We went from 4 lions, to five to at least 6 lions and there may have been as many as seven as we watched the sun begin to set! This shot was the most visceral moment of our trip.

Can we please talk about the over pricing of carcasses on LD? 250 sb is ridiculous for elephant calf carcasses. Zebras, Wildebeest and Buffalo I can understand but not these.

As someone who doesn't have the time during the day to actively hunt because I'm constantly taking care of two kids (5 yrs and 3 months), I rely heavily upon buying food and when my sb reserves on both prides are low (below 100-300 sb), it makes it very hard to feed my prides and I've been keeping them small because of this reason.

Here are some "lowest" prices I came across:

Zebra Carcass: 2300 sb

Wildebeest Carcass: 99999 sb

Elephant Calf Carcass: 250 sb (^ shown above)

Gazelle Carcass: 99999 sb
