Books are important and a big help to us especially when we are bored, sad, problematic or hungry to learn something. Through the technological advancements, there is a trending application nowadays called Wattpad where you can read any genres or kinds of books you want. People, especially teenagers, enjoy it very much. Sometimes they will buy their favorite story in Wattpad if they become popular and become a book, especially when the book is all about “love”. I admit that is true because I am one of those people who love reading stories in Wattpad. I am also hooked with the book, Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, which is an inspirational book that changed my life and captured the hearts of many readers as well.
The story, Tuesdays with Morrie, pertains to a professor and his student who became friends. And when the professor got older his student Mitch tried to visit him. Every time she visited Morrie they became more closer to each other and they realized what was wrong and what they still need to do in their life. So they talked about regrets, which they said, “we need to think wisely every time we make decisions, so we do not regret what will be the result of our decisions”. They talked about death, which they said, “once you learn how to die, you learn how to live” and “if you accept that you can die at any time then you might not be as ambitious as you are". And they talked about so many things that will change your life and realize the purpose of why you are here in this world.
The author of this book is Mitchell David "Mitch" Albom. He is an American best-selling author, journalist, screenwriter, dramatist, radio and television broadcaster, and musician. His books have sold over 35 million copies worldwide. His book is such an inspiration that’s why I will recommend this book, Tuesdays with Morrie, because this book will help you if you are problematic, sad and want to give up. This book will help you encourage yourself not to lose hope and it will also make you realize that material things are not important because there are other things more important than material things and you need to know and realize what it is.
