Ok tumblerinas,

IF there was a charity marathon that I might have been invited to take part in and IF I was so inclined and IF there was a… costumed element to it… what kind of a costume should I go for?

Ideas welcome (either here or as anon asks if you are shy) I find myself at a bit of a loss!

Only proviso is I will not be wearing heels this time

I did NOT expect quite so many suggestions for my marathon costume! They ranged from absolute genius to truly disturbing / likely to get me arrested 🥴

I’ve picked some of my favourites (that seem vaguely practical to construct and then run 26.2 miles in) what do you think?

I have grouped all the birds of prey together as some were very specific.

What should Scott dress as for the marathon?

Can we have an update on the marathon? Have you run it already? What costume did/will you wear?

Heh no, not yet. The one I’ve got a fundraiser place for is the North Shore which isn’t until September.

Which is good because I’ve somehow gotta figure out how I can dress as Thunderbird One (and also get marathon distance fit enough to not shame her by bein’ slow 🫣)

And it’s gotta be a proper costume… can’t go half measures on this sorta thing, that’s not my style. The People spoke and so I’m gonna do my darned best to make ‘em proud.
