Today was a really good mail day for me. @breakfastwiththesun was kind and generous enough to offer to make a shirt for me to wear to my marathon and it arrived today. Along with a BONUS SHIRT!!! And a really sweet card, and llama patch, and two stickers. I think one will go on my car (if it will hold up?) and one on my laptop.

And then a personalized note from Frank with my vinyl?! I mean honestly, I freaked out so much when I opened it up and saw that note sitting there. I honestly can barely believe it. Also the 24k Lush variant is FUCKING GORGEOUS omg

I mean my work day was blah, but all of that was good and pilates was just what I needed so yea. Good outweighs the bad.

I feel like one of those posts about getting up early eating healthy, listening to nature because that's my morning. The boyfriend had to go to work an hour early today, so my morning feels kinda out of order, but I have the balcony door open and fresh cool air is coming in and airing out all the stuffy air from the past few days and there's birds and it all smells fresh. I got my oatmeal finishing on the stove, I have a bunch of blueberries to eat, and my coffee is perfect today. Let's keep these calm, serene vibes going all day✌

The storms are finally moving out of my immediate area and thank god there was nothing too severe. I finally feel a little relaxed for the first time in a couple days. The underlying current of nerves about the race is still there, but I'm feeling ok about it all right now. Just one last shakeout run stand between me and 26.2 miles in Green Bay. You guys, have I mentioned I get to run inside Lambeau Field? Where the greatest football team on earth plays! Every time I say it, I get choked up a little bit, and since that's at like mile 26, I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna ugly cry my ass across the finish. Tomorrow is my friday, on real Friday I get to go to BBQ Fest and get my nails done. I'm really looking forward to this.

MARATHON RUNNERS, I HAVE AN IMPORTANT QUESTION

If on my 20 mile long run I didn't have issues with chafing, am I going to magically and suddenly have issues with it once I hit mile 21, or beyond? I'm wondering if I need to buy body glide while I'm in Madison this afternoon.

Monday accountability minus the tasty tasty cake I got at our work cookout and the chobani I ate after dinner. I probably wouldn't have had the chobani if I hadn't accidentally bought one that was already expired 🙃 pilates was an ass kicking, but it was kinda sad because it's the last time I'll see my instructor for a while as she's going on maternity leave right after Memorial Day and I'll be taking next week off and we don't have class on holidays. Today is a half day, let's crush it.
