Marble Orchard - Come Sit With Me In My Hole

My cousin, Allen, sent me some songs that he found on a tape that we recorded live in the rehearsal room in 1994. This is one I had forgotten about - but I love it.

My cousin, Allen and I were in a band in the 90s - Marble Orchard. We played clubs around at Atlanta mostly, with some out of state gigs. Allen stumbled upon some old rehearsal tapes that we recorded straight off the board, 'live' in the rehearsal room. They sound much more like us - and, frankly, 100 times better than the CD we made in studio. Here's a bit of one of the songs I had forgotten about - but it made me feel good to hear that we did lay down some good tunes together. I mixed in some old pictures. (also discovered ProShow Web - it's an awesome tool)

I totally meant to post this yesterday on Halloween, but I fell asleep. There's no better way to celebrate halloween than with a obscure psychedelic garage rock song about a bunch of kids getting high in a cemetery, but this song is absolute pleasure to listen any time anywhere.
