In my story The Final Pack, the main character Stiles has been led to believe that supernatural creatures are mindless and bloodthirsty. However, when his best friend Scott is bitten, it is the humans who wish to kill him and the wolves who agree to save him. This turns his perception of supernatural creatures on its ear, and in a bid to further protect Scott from harm, he asks to set off into the apocalypse with the pack to find out what else he has been wrong about and what else is out there.

Adventures ensue as they travel around the ruined world, including this particular one, where they happen upon Eden and meet a trio of gods they help out of a bind. Stiles is gifted the inert fragment, which he does in fact swallow and gains access to a well of Void magic which will aid him in later adventures.

Statistically speaking, humans want to put things in their mouths. I’m not surprised at all by this.

Oooh, now I see what the marble question is about. Tbh I wouldn't even demand any clarifications. I'd just swallow it, for I am a fool, and even if it ends horribly, at least I would go down happy.

So,about that marble... Could you say anything about the nature of the 2012 apocalypse or what this god has done to indicate that it is benevolent?

The 2012 apocalypse was supernatural in nature. Magics that had previously either lain dormant, didn’t exist, or stayed quiet arose which caused many disruptions in the natural order of things. Supernatural creatures, which had previous existed under the radar, became plentiful and obvious. Weather and geography changed, everything from things being destroyed to things being transplanted to things being created. You are in America where the land east of and including most of the Appalachians sank below the sea, and a gouge opened up in the north that spans from the Rockies to the Appalachians and is so wide you cannot see one side while standing on the other.

This god appeared outside of the town 6 years ago when the apocalypse began, and until three years ago stood dormant a few miles outside of the town. When one of the townsfolk went to talk to it finally, it followed her back to the town with its two siblings. It has spent the last 3 years walking a very slow circle around the town, leaving verdant life and growth in its wake, which has helped the town to recover from the creatures that destroyed it initially. It has spoken at length with the woman who came to talk to it, and she assures you that it is benevolent. You have explored the town and found it to be peaceful and generally pleasant, and feel you can trust her judgment.

Sorry to bother you, but what's the marble question? Is it like one of those probability games?

The marble question was a made up scenario I played with followers last year. The question was based on an upcoming event in a story I was writing. I presented the question to everyone, and they had the ability to ask whatever question they wanted (with one exception) and get a truthful answer. The object of the game was to come to a conclusion about whether or not you would do the thing presented in the question.

Which is all very cloak and dagger, so I went and dug up the question so I could play again! I’ll make a post in a minute and we’ll see how everyone does this time :)

(Universe marble question) do I have a decent life carved out for me in this post apocalyptic world or am I struggling desperately to survive against other humans, beasts and/or unidentified creatures? Because if my life is pretty naff then I’m going to down that thing in a oner.

You have spent the last year or so traveling with a group of werewolves who are your friends. You are in love with one of them. The apocalypse is not comfortable to live in, but you have been finding it worthwhile.
