Hiya! I just wanted to ask you about your fnaf au in which the animatronics are not child ghosties. I've seen the art and I'm in love and would like to know more if you are okay with sharing! (P.S, I love your art and your style It's awesome! And specifically the piece of Freddy x Puppet cuddling is so cute!)

thank you!! I haven't put much thought into the au admittedly, the only major difference is that the animatronics aren't possessed and they all align with my own headcanons, I'm still sort of workshopping it, but it's mainly just so that I can draw ship art of the characters without people putting my head on a stake for "shipping dead kids" (which I don't, I ship the animatronic characters themselves, and I've had people try to cancel and harass both me and my partner for it), I'm hoping to give a more cohesive overarching plot to it in the future but until then it's basically just my headcanons and ships without the child murder, but I have also been working on a daycare au!! (inspired by the fazbear daycare ask comic!!) so stay tuned in case I ever get around to finishing that lmao ✨️

Hi! Just wanted to ask if you have any tips on character design because the characters I see you draw are super unique and cool! Thanks!

aww thank you!! well I guess what I do is first consider the character's environment, personality and general aesthetic, are they a scholar? put them in a uniform, maybe with eye bags from late night studying, and messy hair from stress pulling, are they a rambunctious desert warrior? give them breathable clothing with light armor, and a hairstyle that reflects their personality!! maybe frizzy hair and tan skin from the sun, and scars from battle. little details like that! also, make sure you give them a design that you can draw a bunch more times. while adding little details is fun, sometimes you'll find yourself having a crazy bout of inspiration where you can't stop adding details, and then you sit down to draw them again, and you can't bring yourself to finish it! (looking at you mihoyo!) minimalistic design choices can be utilized, however! less is more, and big simplistic shapes or style choices can be really eye catching. think of steven universe, while he could wear a shirt with one of his many interests on it in a detailed design, he just has a red shirt with a star, because that's easy to replicate, especially if this character will be animated. the most important thing about character design is making sure that the design and design aspects fit YOUR style and YOUR capabilities, you're the one drawing them after all! there's no wrong way to express yourself! (of course, be mindful of not creating characters that display harmful stereotypes, but thats a whole other conversation), another thing that helps is THEMES. pick a specific thing your character resonates with, a specific aesthetic. stars, flowers, science, computers, bats, gothic, the color blue, fire etc., simple word prompts like that can be a major source of inspiration. most important of all though? HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!! don't worry about what other people think about your characters, it's okay to take design inspiration from different pieces of media, and it's okay to redesign your character as many times as necessary!! trial and error is part of improvement, so be patient with yourself, and the rest will follow!! hope this helps :3
