What do ya think of Bob X Mario?

Me grew attached to it-

Like most ships, I'm cool with it. They definitely have some good episodes together like the fishing one. like a chaotic calamity duo. They match eachother's vibe very well and I can picture them doing stff like fake dating for free dessert and all that. In one of the Mario tries TikTok episodes Bob was willing to kiss Mario so they could stay at the girls sleepover so yeah I get the vision. Personally, I don't think the dynamic appeals to me but I'am always happy to see contant for a rarepair!! Anyway, here's a MarBob drawing I did in 2 minutes with a mouse. They cool.

Since we’re taking about rarepairs, something I’ve started shipping out of nowhere is Mario/Bob (or MarBob).

Honestly this is mostly because there have been a few moments in the show where Bob has hit on Mario.

But also bc they’re both trash gremlins who act like dicks but would commit homicide if someone fucked with their friends.

Yh I do see where you’re coming from with this one. Especially with stuff like the fishing episode where it really highlights their similarities.

Personally I don’t really see much chemistry to consider them something I would ship but as always, I get the appeal and I can appreciate a good rarepair!

Uhhh let’s see some scenarios…

The crew are playing boardgames and Bob and Mario team up secretly to beat everyone.

Bob crashes at Mario’s place, much to Luigi’s dismay as now he has two trash gremlins to deal with.

They insult each other a lot but it’s mostly just banter. They do genuinely love and care about each other but wouldn’t let that show as that’s just not their style.
