It wasn’t every day that you happened upon a man, casually sitting on a park bench, trying to sip a coffee awkwardly, bound by metal cuffs. Patrick was good at tuning the world out when he wanted to, but this caught his attention. A small half smirk tickled across his lips, and he meandered over to the bench, sitting down and crossing his legs.

“I don’t mean to pry, but....well...I can’t be the first person to query about your very art-deco statement piece there.”

He expected mysterious silence, perhaps to be told to piss off. Instead the male sipped at his coffee and then gave a mildly amused response. “Intoxication leads to some interesting adventures.”

Patrick laughed at that. “Yes but then, if I recall, you end up losing memory of a chunk of said adventure. I’m imagining you jumping out of a police car...are you on the lamb...should I keep my eyes open for wanted posters with your face upon it?”

The male chuckled, a bit of coffee almost slipping down onto his shirt. “I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you.”

Smelling the magic on the man, the vampire grinned. “You’d find that difficult. However, I could be a good Samaritan and get you out of those. So that you can enjoy your coffee in piece.” With a swift pull and turn of his hands, he’d unsnapped the handcuffs, metal clattering onto the ground.

‘You should keep those though. As a memento.”

💔 What was my muse’s first heartbreak?

His first romantic heartbreak was Patrick’s giving up on him. Before that, the only thing that ever broke his heart was his mother’s passing.

👿 Would my muse ever blackmail someone into sex?

Possibly. Sex with an unwilling partner isn’t something he enjoys as their willing submission is what really gets him off, but if someone is holding back on him for whatever reason, he is not above blackmail.

👠 What was my muse’s last serious relationship like?

Unhealthy. Philippe is controlling and domineering and, more often than not, his relationships are codependent with him becoming the dominant personality. He tends to call the shots and when someone doesn’t agree with him, he punishes them. He’s gotten a lot better, but the will to have what he wants and get back at people for not giving him just that still is very much there.
