I’d made this in time to celebrate Mario Day, but also back in March. 9th marks the Super Mario RPG’s 30th Anniversary. So you know it’ll be a right pick cosplay for my hippo friend who enjoys games and pizzas. 😉

Dear Diary,

I read a line today that stayed with me.

“For nothing to tie us down, let nothing bind us.”

There’s something beautiful in that idea. The thought that love shouldn’t feel like a knot around your wrists, but more like two people choosing to stay close without needing to hold each other too tight.

Maybe the purest kind of connection is the one that doesn’t trap you. The one where you stay because you want to, not because you’re afraid to leave.

I like the softness of that. The freedom inside it.

Being close without feeling owned.
