The Armed Detective Agency with a (gender-neutral) March 7th! Reader!
This is mostly platonic bc i wanted to add kyouka, but you can infer most of them as romantic if u like
Fukuzawa quickly realizes that you have become an integral member of the ADA. The reasoning is simple: your boundless optimism. The agency had always attracted oddballs, but those oddballs can suffer from pessimism about the world and their work, even if most of them hide it well. You and Kenji often work together to lift the agency's spirits and remind them of, to be grand, the hope in humanity.
Yosano never had the opportunity to have her childhood, so you bring it to her. Whatever gender you are, you're the one inviting her to sleepovers, painting each other's nails, and forcing her to watch your favorite childhood shows. You insist on giving her her girlhood back, even if you haven't yet realized it yourself.
Dazai has stopped joking around you. Not entirely, no, he is still a teasing mackerel, but he stopped making *those* jokes around you because you always looked so concerned. You were the only one that never got used to it, the only one to never give up on making sure he's alright. He always lies when he answers you, but lately, it's made him feel... worse?
Kunikida loves how many photos you take. It's just so helpful for finding, maintaining, and filing away evidence! That's all. No, his expression doesn't soften when you show him the photo you took of one of the parties you threw for everyone at the office. He's not smiling in the photo! He just wanted everyone to go back to work, give him that! And he is quite surprised when you do. What you may be surpsied about is finding it in his book of ideals one day.
Kyouka really needs a good role model. I mean, seeiously. Atsushi is wonderful, but he's so insecure and awkward and also in need of a role model. They both need someone better than Dazai to look up to... thankfully, you meet the requirements. You're so nice and cheerful, it's truly hard not to like you... but you're not weak, either. You have a quiet kind of strength they both respect. Frankly, they both want. They both want the kind of control and subtle confidence you have in yourself and in your powers. Make sure to teach them, ok?
Bonus: I was thinking about what ability a march 7th person would have, and the first (and basic) thought was ice, but then i thought its be cool to lean into the memories and photo stuff, so i landed on an ability that works like this: the reader can take photos of their enemies with a special polaroid-like camera, and the photos that come from this are of the enemies favorite memories. The photos, then, can trap the enemies in their favorite memories for as long as the memory was captured.
