I was walking an abandoned track and found some old boxcars living in the middle of nowhere! God I love walking the tracks in the middle of the country, there is this constant sense that that you might find something something special. There is never a moment that things are boring, it's just a constant anticipation of what awaits around the next bend. I could do this forever!

I'm doing a project in my area where I'm systematically walking all the tracks. After today I'll be able to say I've walked from Salisbury NC to Spartenburg NC, all by train tracks!
