Gaza March to return Massacre May 14th 2018
In light of recent events of the very open ethno_fascist genocide taking place in Gaza by IDF Zionists of Israel with full backing of the western world powers (excluding Ireland, I believe) I wanted to highlight an event not too long ago.
On May 14th 2018 The Palestinian people of Gaza were in continuing peaceful marches Up to the walls imprisoning them with hopes that the apartheid regime of Israel would have some humanity and hear their plea with a right to return, to be given basic human rights as they had been doing since March 30th 2018. Instead of being shown humanity IDF soldiers began an especially discriminatory attack on the peaceful protestors. The causalities for that day alone stood at 2700 injured, including 1,359 from live ammunition and 235 Children. The dead included six children under the age of 18, among them a 15-year-old girl, and a medic and at least 52 adults. The toll increased exponentially through the course of the multiple week protest with numbers in 12,000 plus victims range 1000 of which children and hundreds of medics and journalists in appropriate identifying garb.
Many IDF soldiers have gone on record to brag about their statistics in competition with each other It is callous and bitter but I'll provide a link to some accounts of this .
I didn't write this up to excuse any taken lives from the Israeli citizens attacked on October 7th 2023 or any time, but to simply highlight some of the failed opportunities to work out peace of if not the most oppressed then one of the most oppressed groups in modern human history and history as a whole (I hope this is apparent to readers without going into detail of the entire 75 year ethnic cleansing).

Six IDF snipers told Israeli newspaper Haaretz about their experiences "shooting knees" on the border with Gaza.
I24NEWS TV channel: Hamas-backed rioters seen "burning tires and hurling rocks and homemade explosive devices at Israeli forces on the other
Gaza-based terrorist group Hamas is again set to launch the violent ‘‘Great March of Return’ on Israel’s southern border, Arab media reports. In past years, Hamas has used these ‘return marches’ to incite large crowds to breach Israel’s border. Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists use rioters as cover to target Israeli soldiers along the border.
“The decision was made on Wednesday by the “Supreme National Authority for the Great March of Return and Breaking the Siege” to begin to rehabilitate the “return camps” near the security fence in the eastern Gaza Strip, Assabeel, an Islamist weekly newspaper based in Amman, reported,” the Jewish News Syndicate news agency reported.
While the Gaza-based Islamic terrorist group hasn’t formally launched the marches, Hamas-backed rioters are already staging violent attacks in a bid to breach the Israeli border.
Ahead of the formal announcement, Hamas showed off its preparation for the upcoming mass-rioting to the reporters. “On Wednesday, photographers were invited to the area along the security fence to document ongoing works to clear the ground, Haaretz reported. The publicity stunt was reportedly intended to signal to Israel that Hamas has the capabilities to resume activities along the border, such as organizing violent rallies and launching incendiary balloons,” the Times of Israel reported Friday.
Palestinian terrorist groups cynically deploy young boys and girls on the forefront of their terrorist operations. Over the summer, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have been holding military camps, training thousands of teenagers in the tactics of terrorist warfare.
The Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported Friday:
Dozens of young Palestinians gathered Friday along the border separating the Gaza Strip and Israel to protest, burning tires and hurling rocks and homemade explosive devices at Israeli forces on the other side of the fence. Reports in Palestinian outlets claimed at least three youths were injured by Israeli riot control measures. This follows reports about the resumption of weekly “return marches” along the border, aimed at protesting against the blockade imposed on Gaza by Israel and Egypt, a measure taken to limit the influence of terrorist groups based in the Palestinian territory. In the past, these marches have been marked by violence and clashes with Israeli security forces on the other side of the border: stone-throwing, explosive charges, shoot-outs, sabotage of the border fence and attempts to penetrate into Israel’s territory. Explosive and incendiary balloons were also thrown into Israeli territory, during these previous marches.
The move come days after Hamas threatened to step up its jihad warfare against Israel. “Our jihad continues, and our operations will not stop,” Hamas-affiliated Al-Qassam Brigades terrorist militia declared in a statement last week.
what do zionists have to say about the march of return?
was it hamas in the crowd of men, women, children, journalists, pregnant people, disabled people, and doctors that the idf shot at, killed, and injured?
also i thought this all started october 7th 2023, so why were palestinians killed during peaceful protests in 2018-2019?
and why were palestinians protesting to begin with?
i want to know what zionists would defend that massacre with, because just the existence of the march of return contradicts everything they say nowadays.
The UN’s damning verdict on the 2018 Gaza protests should prompt the international community into ending Israeli occupation, says Saeb Erekat of the PLO
A UN investigation into the 2018 Gaza protests has concluded that Israeli officers and their leaders may have committed war crimes or crimes against humanity. The human rights council’s commission of inquiry found that soldiers intentionally used live ammunition against civilians, who included children, women, journalists, health workers and people with disabilities.
The figures are telling: more than 6,000 people injured by Israeli bullets, with 183 killed. Renowned human rights organisations such as Human Rights Watch, B’Tselem and Al-Haq had already denounced this policy, with B’Tselem calling on Israeli soldiers not to follow orders to shoot civilians. The people of Palestine still wonder whether such findings will be used by the international community to implement policy aimed at ending the Israeli occupation, or whether it will be business as usual.

With the help of Israellycool reader Tommy, I have distilled the best parts of this train wreck of an interview. Arar confirms many things we knew about Hamas, including:
Their extreme brutality against their own people
Hamas being in charge of the ‘March of Return’ and engaging in violence
The fact many of the so-called medics were really Hamas terrorists
Hamas being responsible for the devastation in Gaza
Hamas profiting off their own people
