leamichele: What a month! So much to highlight, I don’t even know where to start! 1. With my girls from chess backstage at colbertlateshow 2. Truly ran around the city singing Nobody’s Side once it was released 3. Dinner date with Jonathan 4. If March had a song, I think it would have to be Nobody’s Side 5. Sat down with fdilella from ny1 for a Chess Press day. Interview coming soon! 6. Spoke on a panel for thewrap and saw the lovely kerrywashington 7. Had the most perfect mini getaway on my day off with my family 8. Backstage with michaelmayerdir and the guys, aarontveit & nikriz at wnyc before our performance 9. After Jonathan’s final show in justintimebway. So proud of my best friend! 10. Every show, every day, every month, this moment will never get old. Happy to be next to these two, chessbway 11. Lastly, this is what happens when I leave my phone out and nikriz gets his hands on it

film/tv: episode 4 of season 1 of Love Story has absolutely stayed with me. The way she calmed him after he lost his mom was chefs KISS.
episode 5 & 8 of season 1 of Something Very Bad is Going to Happen had so many twists, guest starred my favorite actress and had a KICK ASS finale

march writing recap!!
▪︎ wrote a total of 16K words with an average of 517 words per day, and the most words i wrote in one day was on the 7th with 1709 words
▪︎ finally finally wrote a scene i had been dreading and nearly cried while writing it
▪︎ added an extra 3 chapters thanks to @sunflowrry
▪︎ i also worked out how long i have been spending on fic stuff like writing or doing the graphic...it was very....eye opening.....

april is already here, but i still want to keep this going anyway.
so, in this version of things that brought me joy during march, i have:
1. music. this is a constant because i’m truly and wholeheartedly a music enjoyer.
this past month i listened non-stop to: the book of love (olivia rodrigo’s cover for war child records), are you listening yet? by harry styles, guerrera by valeria castro, the path and a world alone by lorde, hoax by taylor swift, ice cream man (the montreux jazz festival version) by raye, and don’t shut me down by abba.
2. in connection with that, bts’, harry’s, and raye’s new albums really hit like crack.
3. i got to see 💒, sabrina carpenter, addison rae, lorde, the killers, and more live. i hate crowded events, but long live live music, wine frappes, and my friends.
4. i finished the second season of abbott elementary and found out my queen ayo edebiri is janine’s sister??
5. hiking.
6. buying new sports gear (there’s never enough short shorts and sports bras).
7. of course, lewis’ podium with ferrari (first of many, amen).
8. sunbathing and my vitamin d levels rising.
9. michael b. jordan winning an oscar.
10. project hail mary (another perfect one that, in its simplicity, had me rethinking everything for days).
11. with a lot of effort, i finally reached my protein intake goal.
12. jannik winning the sunshine double and playing confident, beautiful tennis.
13. plenty of birthday celebrations with my beloved ones.
there’s happiness right now, and even happier days ahead!
