Next month I'm joining this challenge and I'll also be fundraising for Cancer Council Australia's March Charge Campaign in honour of my friend Joanne. When I first moved to Toowoomba over a decade ago now Jo was my first friend, she was also my favourite walking buddy, even during her radium and chemo we'd get out and go for a trot. Honestly, that woman was fearless. And she always encouraged me to finish my damn book! Jo passed away after a four year battle with lung cancer but those we love are never gone when we keep them alive in our hearts.
