Cat's Chimerical Creations March Meet the Maker: Style

Whenever I'm explaining my Frankenplushies to someone for the first time, the first thing out of my mouth is usually some variation of "Do you remember Sid from Toy Story?"

However, Sid is more comfortable with mixed media than I am, since he uses plastic toys and action figures while I've only ever used soft toys. In fact, I'd say softness and cuddlability is at the core of my work - I like my plushies to sit with me on the sofa, so rigid or pokey bits are a no-go.
