Found Marcia Walker’s phone number in my Connie Blair book on the back of a 1968 Hop Drive In paystub from 1968 for “N. Henoman” - roughly 75 cents an hour - though considering servers still got a dollar an hour in 1983 at Jerry’s Diner (Kent, Ohio), isn’t all that bad, if the tips were OK.
