what up with michael and romeo? how did they meet?

Hey thanks for the question :)

Michael and Romeo are both what we call Emotional-Vampires (Vampires who feed of the energy of their Core emotion; that emotion being the last intense Core emotion significant to the Vampires life before being turned into a Vampire).

Michael's Core-feeding emotion is Lonelyness and he was Born around the 1910s and died sometime between 1940-50!

Romeos core-feeding emotion is Romantic love and he is a lot older than michael! Being born sometime before and haveing died at the start of the Victorian era in England.

Romeo and michael met while working the same office Job sometime around the late 80s. Both haveing started the job to kill (haha) time as many vampires do and both haveing seen it as a opportunity for feeding.

Michael feeding on the loneliness a lot of office workers expirience due to the conditions of their work and romeo having seen the potential of an office romance.

With some trials and tribulations they eventually figure out the other also being a vampire and bond over it, becoming what you could call friends.

After Romeos divorce from his latest wife, due to her haveing figured out he lied about being french, Romeo crashes with Michael making them roommates. Their relationship can be described as very close and purely platonic with a... mix of sexual attraction on a purely physical level.
