Jude is definitely the friend slash little sister figure who would try and jump on Marco’s back so they could be carried around when they’re too lazy to walk on their own. They try doing it on the way into locations they’re investigating for the show, but know better than to do it after, considering they’d probably be so exhausted and accidentally tackle Marco in the process. Whether or not it works, it’s still annoying, which is a win for Jude.

There’s something unspoken between Jude and Marco that they never ask questions about the other’s siblings. Jude doesn’t talk to theirs anymore because they’re assholes who never cared about them in the first place, while Marco doesn’t talk to his brother for... obvious reasons. Jude doesn’t really know about Marco’s family, but they do know it isn’t a subject he wants brought up, and since they don’t really want to talk about their family either, they’re content not knowing where their friend came from - what matters is who he is now.

LILIAN: Is there anything from your past you wish to keep hidden?

Tamsin started to answer, but then quickly snapped her mouth shut and wagged her finger a few times. “Ah, almost got me! Nice try.” Saying ‘everything’ would have been too harsh. There were a few things in her past that were genuinely harmless embarrassing moments. Like the time she didn’t want to be disqualified from the 5th grade spelling bee due to a stomach bug and ended up puking on stage. Or when she tried hanging with the theatre kids in high school and had to play a role in Oklahoma. Then bailed out halfway through the rehearsal process. She was hoping that maybe, since she was so good at faking her way through life in the real world, that she’d be just as good onstage. She was wrong.

“If I wanted to keep something hidden, why would I tell you now?” Anything else she wanted to keep to herself? Her abilities? Faking her entire personality? The mere existence of her twin sister, pretending she knew who The Smiths were, the list went on and on.

SOFIA: What is your most embarrassing yet favorite thing to do?

Damn it, where was her list of acceptably quirky hobbies when she needed it? Stress baking was too cliche, dancing was just a little too boring. What did New Tamsin like to do again? She liked drinking a little too much, she liked practicing her smile in front of a mirror, she liked… “I like writing short stories. Like, a lot.”

Tamsin surprised herself with her answer, blurting out the first thing that came to mind despite it not being very remarkable or lovable. Her voice dropped from it’s usually bubbly pitch, and Tamsin found herself self-consciously rubbing her wrist. “They all have happy endings. I’m a sucker for those, I guess.”

Tamsin really wants Marco to like her. Not for any altruistic reason, but because she knows getting the camera guy to like her means more time on screen. So far, nothing she’s tried seems to have worked. She’s attempted to get in his good graces by giving him baked goods; a few cookies, brownies, one time even mini muffins, all under the guise that she baked too many and needs help getting rid of them. Tamsin is genuinely confused how to get Marco to like her, but that doesn’t mean she’ll stop trying.

Despite not being very close with Marco, Tamsin does observe him a little more than normal. This is because she thinks Marco has the perfect personality for one of her characters in her latest short story. She likes to make little notes about his behavior a notebook which never leaves her side (all good journalists have one, or at least that what she’s heard) and hopes he hasn’t noticed.
