It’s Noah’s Birthday! Starter for: @marcuscorleonis

So this was confusing. Noah couldn’t remember hearing his alarm, which was odd enough. There was always a chance of him waking in the middle of the night, especially since falling asleep had been exceptionally hard lately, anyway. However, Noah could vaguely make out the sun, soft light filling the room and painting it in a somewhat golden light.

That was unusual. There wasn’t supposed to be any light before his alarm went off. Noah sure as hell wasn’t one to oversleep. So why in the world --

It took a few moments for Noah’s eyes to get used to the unusual setting. It wasn’t his alarm he first spotted, though, but a very familiar lion-turned-human close by his side. Beautiful.

“-- Furion? How late is it?”

Noah had half expected things to ... change, in one way or another. That was what usually happened after two friends took their relationship to another level and kissed, right? Instead, however, he felt still just as comfortable around Furion as before, if not even more so. It was still easy to talk to him, and somehow their relationship didn’t seem much different than before, either.

With one small difference: Now Noah was able to steal kisses whenever he wanted to, and somehow that wasn’t awkward at all. Whatever they were to each other? Noah was pretty damn comfortable with it, with or without some unnecessary label.
