Haikyuu writing prompt

it’s just something I had in my mind lol ORZ

Hinata isn’t sure when it happens, but he can smell the strong scent of a rainy day mixed with mint and vanilla. He looks to where it’s coming from, and is very surprised to see it coming from fucking Oikawa Tooru. He can’t help but let the aroma surround him like strong arms, hugging his small figure. He suddenly feels at peace. The scent of your soul mate was always something so soothing.

Oikawa Tooru first catches the scent of oranges, then the scent of cinnamon, and finally the scent of anice. To be honest it’s quite a strong smell, and it makes Oikawa dizzy, but it also comforts him. It takes awhile for him to see where it’s coming from. When he finally manages to see where it’s coming from, he is quite surprised to see golden eyes staring at him, the orange strands of hair flowing around the golden eyes boy's face making him look so beautiful. Oikawa can’t help but think how the smell fits the shrimp. Who would’ve thought his soul mate would be so close and yet so far.
