Quick Doodle of Marda Ro 🥀

"They talk to the dead, you know, the Evereni." [Path of Vengeance by Cavan Scott]
The Ro cousins and their personal ghosts.
Marda Ro everyone! I love her, but she frustrates me so because she is a true believer in the Path of the Open Hand. The tragic thing is, I don't believe Marda was a bad person. Belief and grief twisted her into something horrible.
This was a fun project actually. I got to make flowers for the first time and crochet again with embroidery thread (it's so fun to work with! Such tiny little stitches! I could never micro crochet though hahah)
Hobbii came through for me with the metallico yarn! It's so soft and has this beautiful satiny sheen to it, which is what I wanted for her poncho. It looks a little funny because its an uneven poncho with the back longer than the front.
The Evereni is one of my favorite new species introduced in the High Republic. I hope they reappear in the Skywalker Saga era; would love to see an Evereni Jedi!
Also I was making a friendship bracelet last summer and I cannibalized it to get the pale blue embroidery thread. I had just enough for her Path waves. I had WANTED to draw them on with a paint pen I bought but the paint didn't show up against the yarn.
I know her skin is more grey, but this was the closest slate I had on hand. Plus Marchion is pretty blue.
Almost called the Leveler “Nameless Sycophant” but Marchion loves it too much for that
