Mardraum | Abhorrent Visions of Misery (2014)
Finally got round to continuing my earlier project illustrating songs by one of my absolute favourite bands; Enslaved. This is an illustration of “Mardraum” from the album “Mardraum: Beyond the Within”. This marks the first album of the band’s second phase, where they became even more introspective, and somewhat philosophical and even slightly psychedelic. As such, I will be marking this shift by putting some emphasis on the human figure in these next few illustrations.
