Hi my dears,

I come with a warning. Starting this Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 6pm PT, I'll be tagging all spoiler content for Ahsoka as #ahsoka show and #ahsoka spoilers, and due the change of the release time for all the episodes to a more decent hour for me, I might liveblog my reaction. Also, I'll keep the spoilers tag for each episode for one (1) week, until the next comes out.

So, if you want to avoid catching spoilers before you watch the episodes, be sure to block those tag.

Regarding the apology, I should be ashamed of the person I'll become on Tuesday, but 😌 I'm not. So, I guess it's another warning. I'll be annoying for the next 7 weeks or so. You have the right to block or unfollow me if I get on your nerves.

Guys I see so much backlash for Pixar casting Chris Evans for Buzz Lightyear in the new prequel movie and I just want to put it my two cents.

They’re using a different actor to DIFFERENTIATE between the toy and the actual guy the toy is based on in the toy story universe. Remember the target audience is kids, even if we’re all gonna run in see it for the nostalgia like Frozen 2.

That’s also why the design isn’t exactly the same. You can see the differences between this new design and the old one, especially since he’s a actual human too. They’re trying to say “hey this is different they’re not the same person ok?”

Kids need to know that this isn’t woody’s best friend. This is who he was based on

I’ve never heard of a movie that was based on someone’s life where the actual person played themself. At least one that went mainstream.

Not to mention Buzz is younger here. They need a younger sounding actor.

So while Tim Allen will always be toy Buzz, this isn’t toy Buzz.

This is the actual Buzz. And he’s Chris Evans.
