Jo has only been to the beach in Columbia a grand total of once, when she was asked to perform for a party. She got horribly sunburnt and never went again.

oh, margaret is the complete opposite lol - she’s at the beach on almost every one of her days off. it’s a place where people don’t care (as much) about your status, and she gets to relax and have fun with her few friends that she has on columbia 

on land, though? she’s not as fond of the beaches there. too much seaweed.

🖊   one for my new tlou bb, tilly! she's fascinated by life before- she was three when the outbreak happened, so she doesn't really remember much. when she meets new "old" people (aka: anyone who remembers life before the outbreak lol - she stops calling them old once she hits 20 and realises yeah, that's not that old), she asks them to tell her everything they can remember

🖊   and my bioshock bb, margaret! - she doesn't meet elizabeth until things have started going south. she's one of the group that elizabeth dances with on the pier at battleship bay. she's curious about elizabeth (and the gruff dude that she's with), and follows them when she meets them again when shit is really going down.

🖊 while her and joseph are in the bunker, alice literally wears a hole into the rug in the main room - she wants to get out, to move, but she can't, and it's driving her insane. when she gets out, she really wants to go on a hike or do something active, but faith convinces her to at least stay in town

i couldn’t decide between talisa and margaret sooooo....... both!

10. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?

talisa: street-smart, definitely. if she had the chance, she’d be pretty good with numbers, but she never really had the attention span to sit still during her limited schooling.

margaret: book-smart/intellectual - she’s not a fighter. at all. she’d be happiest relaxing at a little cafe in paris or london with elizabeth, sipping on coffee and talking about the latest scientific advacements.

20. What were the most deeply impressive political or social, national or international, events that they experienced?

talisa: the outbreak is one of her earliest memories - she doesn’t remember many details, nor much from before, but she remembers the panic and chaos of the first few months after.

margaret: ....i haven’t done much research on anything from before she came to columbia, but she was there when everything with booker happened, and went through the tears until they were at the version of columbia that is evacuated.

30. Are they holding on to something in the past? Can he or she forgive?

talisa: uuuuuh. let’s just say that there’s a few people out there that if she met them again? well, they might not come out of the encounter alive. or in one piece. depends on the day. she’s pretty good at forgiving people, but sometimes... yeah.

margaret: not really? she’s a little bitter at the treatment she received from some old employers, but she’s left them firmly in the past.

40. How is their sense of humor? Do they have one?

talisa: her and ellie love sharing puns - talisa thinks that they’re the best kind of humor.

margaret: a little more dry - booker rarely realises she’s joking about something until she’s started laughing at his confusion

50. Whatare the prevailing facial expressions? Sour? Cheerful? Dominating?

talisa: god, all i can think of is “retail face” - not a smile, not a frown. she’ll perk up when she’s around people she cares about, but if she’s alone/lost in her thoughts, she just goes neutral.

margaret: she’s forced herself to have a smile as her default - seeming constantly cheerful has been useful for her
