when you make your gifs what percentage of fill do you typically do that gaussian blur on above the smart sharpening?

it’s always 30% but I do it not for all my gifs :)

When you're changing the coloring of a gif, how do you get it so their skin doesn't change color? Someone else said something about using layer masks but I didn't understand how to use that with the colors. Could you maybe do a quick photo tutorial? Thanks!
