It was like a secret, a guilty pleasure, how much Nadia loved to gossip. Maybe it was the rarity of it, that she could only do it with certain people, or when she was truly switched off from captain duties (lets be real, she was never switched off from that). It was partly why she liked invited Mari to do a job with them. She wasn’t attached in the same way she was her crew, and Mari knew the ins and outs of Port Grave as much as Nadia did.
And the things Nadia didn’t know? Well, where Nadia went luxury followed, and she’d happily splash out on a nice dinner (or an average one at the Inn) for information on a rival captain. One who apparently thought he could screw over a pair of siren sisters.
