I know more dramatic things happened between legs and martyn in that same scene [thousand yard stare] but GOD Martyn realising that Legs is gonna sacrifice himself. fffuck fuck fuxkk "the whole time you were saying "I'm working on it", I never expected it would lead to here" while clearly holding back tears. "just remember what I told you." a throwback to probably the second real one-on-one conversation they had, where legundo told martyn he could be a change. where the doctor showed just how passionate he was about helping people.
