Poppy Playtime THEORY

CONTEXT: Based on the in-game cardboard cutouts of each Smiling Critter, their voice lines, and the looming question on what they did during the Hour of Joy, I have a theory to present to you guys.

Kicken Chicken: He was helping the orphans get to safety but died from PickyPiggy, before Kicken could get to safety with the kids, he probably protected them by trying to hold Picky back but got hurt in the process.

PickyPiggy: ate Bubba, Crafty, and Kicken. This was hinted during her ONLY mentioning cooked Chicken, Unicorn, and Elephant. Afterwards she could've eaten herself due to insanity.

Bubba Elephant: probably didn't do anything but sit and watch the chaos, that or was killed within the first second so he couldn't help the kids. This is why he only remembers other people screaming.

CraftyCorn: was probably the one to kill Bobby Bear Hug, for the reason of #1 Bobby is RED and #2 they asked for more red which then screamed and yelled about and then saying "thank you for more red" which indicates that CraftyCorn did kill someone. Afterwards probably got hunted down by Picky and than ate.

Hoppy HopScotch: helped kids escape, deeming that she encouraged the kids to keep going by "hoping" probably through the rocky cliff tunnels, telling them "Don't look at your feet" because she wanted to get kids to safety ASAP, probably got lost as well but soon fell off of one of the railings and got damaged on the way down

Bobby BearHug: probably would've wanted to go with the others leading the kids out but had to stay back, seeing if some one left kids behind. This was hinted at Bobby saying "don't leave me" because she was scared and didn't want to be left behind.

DogDay: lead the kids out as well, which the kids probably were scared to leave the factory OR at least leave DogDay behind that's why he asked "why aren't you running?", which caused DogDay to get snatched by CatNap because he needed the kids to move.

CatNap: Why he doesn't have voicelines and was either sleeping or eating the mic, was because he felt safe because he was protected by the Prototype and we already knew about CatNap within the first few minutes of Chapter Three. CatNap didn't help, he hunted.

RAA Update;; An Explanation

< If anyone is wondering why the chapter update is being slow, right now my computer has been having issues and I haven't been able to get on the Google doc via. computer. Technically the chapter is done I just have to do the art and we'll have an update soon, >

Our Art Style: An Explanation

< Hi-ya guys! I'm here to give a deep dive into our art style! In the past I've gotten some comments on posts that I should close my lines or that it doesn't look "real" and so I'm here to info dump on what I do to draw. (( also how I draw so fast ))

< The art style we use is a cartoon-ish one! It's not meant to be real, and it's supposed to keep characters simple, colorful, and more expression-like. It gives the characters more feeling and sometimes a better view on what they're feeling, so on.

< Why our art has so many disconnected lines is because our art isn't meant for animation; it's for comics, pictures, and anything that stands still. The open lines also make our art fluid and easier to pose in more expressive ways. We've started to do more complicated poses with our art, which isn't made to be drawn together as one line!

< On our art journey we didn't really have any drawing references or practice with other art styles. We made our style without anything at all! It was only last year that we actually got art references that help us get better. Our art style is unique and it's just like that ig.

< Why we draw so fast is because drawing was the only thing we could do practically (( before writing )) When someone says "practice makes perfect " they mean it. It takes us about a minute and thirty seconds to draw a character we know how to draw! The broken lines also help out with it, but otherwise we had A LOT of practice with doing only art ever since we could pick up a pencil.
