Noah had certainly mellowed in the past few days, if only because the new students were mellowing themselves. The questions he fielded now had dwindled to the pertinent things that he could answer with ease. Noah was content to actually study in the library some evenings without expecting the entirety of Gryffindor Tower to come collapsing down in the meantime. It was nice to not pay attention to anything but the implications of physics when something is vanished. “Seat’s open,” he mumbled as a shadow fell over the table, lifting his gaze for just a moment to see that he recognized, however vaguely, whoever had happened upon him. “What’s up?”
