1. How long have you had your illness, and what is it?
I was just recently diagnosed with Crohns in late August. So, im kinda new at this whole thing...
2. What is your favorite thing to do?
well, other than blog on here I would have to say just being out with my friends and beings just out right nerdy with them.
3. Where are you from?
i am from Cincinnati, Ohio but we are moving across the river sometime soon to Kentucky.
4. How do you relieve stress?
that is a hard question for me, usually just by talking to my friends who are willing to hear me vent when i need to. Also by throwing shot putt and discus .
5. Who understands you and your problems best?
well non-illness related I would have to say my friend Maria, shes helped me out with more things than you could possibly know about me I could not be more thankful for a friend like her. As the Crohns goes i dont really have anyone who actually understands them...
6. What is your favorite time of year? (Just wondering because there’s snow outside and I love it!)
i really dont have a favorite time of the year but i really enjoy fall because of all the leaves turning colors and such.
7. How has your illness positively changed your life?
it has made me work harder for things that i wanted and learn not to give up when i am having a bad day.
8. How has it negatively changed your life?
just trying to figure out my new 'normal' and not being able to do many of the things that i once was able to do.
9. Tell me something special about yourself (Ex: hidden talents, very good at math, etc.)
if i don't say so myself im actually pretty good with computers. i know around 5 coding languages but i cannot fix youre broken computer i dont do that
10. How old are you now, and how old were you when you were diagnosed with your illness?
I am 18 at the moment. I was 17 when i was first diagnosed with Crohns. (Fun fact i was actually in the hospital for my 18th birthday)
11. What is your favorite thing about Tumblr?
okay time to be cheesy, the fact that i am the only one in my family with Crohns and i am able to see that other people have the same issues as i do. it helps me a lot.
