Kinda sad to be selling this one that's been with me for a long time....but in some ways it's happened at just the right time. Ive had a lot of expenses these last couple of months and suddenly found myself completely broke. Meaning I've had to resort to selling piles of records on discogs. And the pruning has been brutal!! Not a bad thing to be honest (more shelf space for all the records lying around on my floor for starters). Amongst them was this Frank Harris and Maria Marquez EP. With the recent reissue of Frank Harris & Maria Marquez material there has been a big resurgence in interest in these two very different people's magical pairing. In fact the reissue has appeared in so many end of year charts already that I'm fairly certain FM & MM are more popular now than they were when the music was first recorded in the 80s. As a result the value of this old recording has leaped up in price quite considerably. Once relegated to shop sale bins, it is now regarded as a collector's item. The weird world of changing trends, fashion and weird collector mentality. Meaning I sold this for 20 times what I paid for it. Perfect timing!
