54. A sequel you really want?
a modern-day follow-up to escape velocity imho. or a spiritual successor to myth and myth ii (there’s technically a myth iii but it’s terrible). i guess it’d also be nice to have a dragon age or mass effect sequel that’s better than i hear praytell mass effect: andromeda turned out, because bioware games scratch a really specific itch for me (AAA fantasy/sci fi spectacle with heroes’ journeys and big battles where you Save The World but you can still be a lady or gay or a gay lady), so if bioware games aren’t even passably good anymore (i haven’t played me:a yet but i’m not... optimistic...) there’s nothing else filling that niche

i play games on PC anyway though so its not like there’s much passing foot traffic when i’m playing mass effect or whatever

On one hand I’m sad the default name is the only voiced one, because I know I’ll end up choosing it just to hear it. On the other hand I’m glad because that means I won’t REGRET THE NAME IMMEDIATLY AFTER CONFIRMING IT, LIKE IN EVERY OTHER BIOWARE GAME I’VE CHOSEN A NON DEFAULT NAME
Yeah, I mean, I don’t blame them for not going the FO4 route and doing a sizeable list of names that aren’t going to cover all options anyway. I considered Sara for my Ryder, but somehow it felt like it wouldn’t separate her enough from the default. I also get why they then use the default name for your sibling, but am kinda sad you can’t name them too!
Bioware leads haven’t been too bad for me; DA names are easier for some reason and Stellar Jane is silly but I wasn’t really taking it seriously at that point, haha.
