Welcome to the world....BOYS!! Quentin Andrew & Noah Ozwald Boedell

Luckily Saffie made it in time, and both boys were born strong and healthy, and Marielle was amazing during the experience. However Evie, probably has even more of a reason to never want to be pregnant.

MARIELLE- “OH!!!  Dear creator, please hold off on these babies coming until Saffie gets here!!”

MARIELLE- “Hey..excuse me.  I am right here.  I can hear you!!”

EVIE- “Oh, I didn’t mean it like that. I think you look beautiful, and the whole way humans conceive and give birth is astounding, but I personally never want to go through that. It looks excruciatingly painful and uncomfortable.”

MARIELLE- “Girl, trust me, you don’t EVEN know the half of it!!”

EVIE- “Okay, so is our conversation over here.  I have a load of homework I need to get finished.

CRUZ- “Okay, yes, I think we are finished here.  And honestly I am so thankful that you have some great female influences that surround you, as I really would have had no clue how to explain everything that a woman goes through as they grow into a woman!!

Jason, Marielle’s husband gave the okay and three months later, the day arrived.  Time to implant the eggs....

AKIRA- “Marielle, this means so much to me, to both of us.  You feeling okay?”

MARIELLE- “A little nervous, but yes, okay.  They said only three eggs fetilized properly, so we could have triplets, guys.  You ready for that...as I am not!!”

CRUZ- “It will be okay. You are going to do great, regardless how many are conceived.”

MARIELLE- “all I ask Cruz, is if there is a boy, we name it Quentin, after Akira’s son that was killed in the war.”

CRUZ- “I think that would be perfect!.”

With that Marielle went for the procedure....

MARIELLE- “I think it is a wonderful idea, but I don’t know, Cruz...I am going to be thirty five in a few weeks, I may be too old. That is why Jason and I have not had anymore children of our own.”

CRUZ- “I called a clinic that specializes in this type of pregnancies and they said as long as the female was under forty , healthy and had carried a child to term, they see no issues.  I would pay the going rate for surrogates, which is 30 thousand and all medical expenses.”

MARIELLE- “Wow, you really do want to do this.”

CRUZ- “Akira does as well, but he said if you said no, he would understand and we would just adopt. But to have a child of your own blood, would be really important to him...to us.  Of course we would tell the child after it got older how they came to be. No more surprises like we had with Evie!”

MARIELLE- “Ok...I am willing...but I need to make sure Jason is okay with it.  I wasn’t a very pleasant person when I was pregnant with Leo.”

CRUZ- “OH ....MARIELLE!! You have made me so happy.  Talk to Jason and if he doesn’t agree with it, we understand. But, I think he will agree...thank you so much!!’

MARIELLE- “I want to meet this doctor you spoke of as well and want a thorough examination.,  If we do this I don’t want any complications.”

CRUZ- “Once ...well if...Jason gives the okay, we can set up and appointment for you to meet her.”

The weeks and months began to pass quickly at first for Marielle, but soon, things seemed to slow down, and her energy began to drain more and more each day. She seemed to watch the calendar daily, hoping the days would go by faster.

During her last months she moved in with Akira, Cruz and Evie, to be close and they decided to have a home delivery with a mid-wife.
