Hello, and welcome to Marigami Week 2025!

There's been very little organised Marigami activity over the past few years (@marigamijuly ran the last time in 2022 and unless we're mistaken, the original @marigami-week has been inactive since 2020) -- but we want to revive something similar and try anew. With eight prompts spanning eight days -- from October 18th to October 25th -- we hope people will join us in creating lots of brand new Marigami content! 💞

A quick rundown of how the event will work:

Anything you post for this event should either @ our account, or go into the #marigamiweek2025 hashtag (no spaces). That way we can reshare it to the community -- through reblogging and likes and similar.

Art, writing, edits, videos, moodboards, whatever you want - any content is allowed, so long as you made it yourself for the event.

- - - Note that we mean "made it yourself" literally: AI generated content is not allowed.

- - - NSFW content will also not be shared by us.

You can create content for as many or as few days as you want; nobody is obliged to participate for every single day.

You don't have to follow the prompts! If you have a Marigami idea but it doesn't fit into anything, you can post it for the last day (which is a free slot) or, if you want, any of the other days. You're also allowed to post things late, if you didn't have time to make them for the day itself.

Want to put Marigami into a poly/queerplatonic situation? That's also absolutely allowed.
