Yugi Muto

Honestly the first thing he wants to do is communicate with the spirit that shares a body with you.

Since you were unaware of the spirit he wanted to make sure they were safe to be around. With so many spirits from the past after him due to his connection with Atem he didn't want to take chances especially with his s/o.

Once he realizes the spirit wasn't malicious just mischievous he is more friendly and easy going with the thief. They would text their skills against each other, and he'll they would teach him a thing or two.

Yugi accepted it as another part of you to love even if he has to stop them from swiping cards from his grandfather's shop.

Yami/Atem

As soon as the spirit made itself know he knew who they were. His memory may be in shambles, but he could never forget his beloved little Thief.

During their first duel in forever it was constant lovers banter. Poking fun of how time has changed them, their hosts, and how their during has changed.

However once the duel was finished no matter who won or lose. He couldn't help but embrace them, and he couldn't have been happier.

Feeling their warmth, and that they were still there with him after so many years? There was no better feeling.

Joey Wheeler

First off how many damn spirits are there?! Second how come you weren't aware of yours like everyone else? It was like you were in a coma when your spirit took over, and that worried him.

So for awhile he was skeptical of your spirit. If you don't remember anything they do, and they were a thief how could he trust them??

However as time progress the more comfortable he is with them. They even explained to him that you sleeping wasn't something you intended. Your body just could handle the two of them being active at the same time. So you slept while they took over.

The two even became good buddies. Alway pulling good natured pranks, and constantly challenging each other to duels. However your still his number one so is she harms you he will do whatever he can to protect you.

Tristan Taylor

Due to his experiences with spirits he won't judge them based on their appearance, but their actions. He won't lie though knowing that your asleep while they run around doing whatever to your body makes him nervous.

Much like his friend he will come around to them once they prove that they aren't there to cause harm to you or him. They were just there to help set things right like they promised years ago.

Him and the spirit don't duel like they do with the others due to him not being big on it. However he does like watching them in action. Watching you control the field always makes him so proud.

The spirit helps him with his Cardio due to constantly being on the run they were able to give him a lot of helpful insight l, and he is now able to run marathons with much trouble.

Duke Devlin

Much like Joey he wants to know why there ao many damn spirits! He just got introduced to this concept, and now they are popping up every time he turns around!

Though he doesn't have complaints when it comes to your spirit because he is biased . They surprisingly get along very well! Always pulling some sort of prank on one another, him teaching them to play Dungeon Dice Monsters™️, and them just having a good time.

Whenever the duel someone he always excitedly watches cheering for the two of you even though it just the spirit.

Whenever you switch back he always make sure your doing okay or if you need anything. He may like your spirit, but are his top priority.

Seto Kiba

Son of-!

I won't sugar coat this one. At first he was less then pleased to know not only did you share this crazy past lives notion like Yugi, but your "spirit" is a thief?! However once he learns that this isn't some crazy notion he is more open to the spirit.

He doesn't care for her pranks or thievery, but he admires he dueling skills. Didn't seem like years 6 feet under didn't rot their brain after all.

It's always a competition when I comes to those two, but at least they are getting along while your gone....sorta....kinda.

Bakura Ryou

When you first passed out in front of him he freaked out! Getting you to a soft place to lay, and checking your head for injury. However while he was examining you the Spirit emerged scaring the boy making him pass out.

Once it was all sorted and he got to know them he didn't mind them too much. They were nicer then Yami, and they seemed to calm Yami down when he got overly upset.

He is big on pranks but he enjoys watching how much fun they have pulling off said prank. Even though it's not you he still enjoys the smile they make for you.

Since Bakura doesn't duel much they don't practice together, but he joys watching them play and unless Yugi and them are there he will cheer for them out loud.

Yami Bakura

He was wondering when they would make it back to him. Honestly it was the whole reason why he was okay with you maybe even got a little crush on you. You reminded him so much of them that he always hoped they would appear.

Once the two were reunited they continued the plan to take down the Pharoah. They honestly didn't care if it was the right thing or not. As long as Bakura wanted it they were determined to get it.

He would often use their thief skills to steal things that would give him the upper hand.

Despite all of this he knows without them he wouldn't be as far as is now. So when the two are alone he showers them in all the love and adoration he has bottled up.

Marik Ishtar

Due to his past with his own spirit he is afraid for the two of you when they first show up. He couldn't bare the thought of you having to go through the same mistreatment so he constantly questioned them till he knew they wouldn't hurt you.

Your nicer then his spirit, but he doesn't like them any better then the start. He just tolerates them since the two of you are inseparable.

He knows what goes on between you and his Yami, and tries to stop them from doing anything that would out you into harm. It doesn't always work though.

When you come back he is almost like a doting mother. Fussing over any bruise or sometimes nothing at all. You just mean so much to him and he wants to make sure your okay.

Yami Marik

Seeing his puppet come back to him like it was fates will had him almost giddy. As soon as he sees them his hand is on their forearm while his other holds their chin.

"Welcome home my Queen/King."

Much like Yami Bakura he will use their thievery skills to his advantage. After all a good wife/husband should always help their husband right?

He is a little on the yandere side he lost them once, and he just wants to lake sure that never happens again. You are his precious Queen/king afterall.

Although I can really only see him getting into a relationship after the Rare Hunters and the defeat of his Yami, but even then he's got a lot of trauma thats gonna make him an asshole

He's pretty clingy either way though

Marik is possessive and jealous. He has freedom now and is outside of the tomb he has to guard, and you're part of that freedom

I think it was also pretty common for Marik to see his relatives only get with one person growing up, so he probably thinks he's gonna marry you one day

With that in mind, he's willing to give you anything (possesion wise) so that you'll stay with him

He doesn't like when some people get too close to you, so he'll get snippy until they back away

It's like you have a little guard dog lol

Might bite your neck and shoulders, just cause he feels like it

I personally see him with naturally sharper canines (and Ishizu tbh, it's a genetic thing) so it's guaranteed to leave a mark

I know he has tattoo's/carvings on his back (it varies depending on if you watched the dub or sub, or if you read the original manga) and he does have a lot of trauma and pain from that, so he'll never suggest getting matching tattoo's

If you do have tattoo's, he's gonna ask about how it was, and when he realizes that there's a safe, healthy way to get inked, he's gonna be like "oh...okay"

He still wouldn't do it though, he's been through enough

He doesn't care if you get along with Ishizu, but if you do then he's cool about it. But you have to get along with Odion. That is not an option.

He kinda lost his bond with Ishizu after she claimed the necklace. He clearly didn't wanna be around her, but she still tried very hard to find and save him. But he still cares a lot about Odion

Marik is gonna want a lot of attention, and doesn't understand why you wont give him any attention (I had mentioned earlier that he'd be clingy)

I think he doesn't care about PDA, as long as it doesn't go past hand holding or putting an arm around you. I can't see him being into kisses in general

Makes it very clear to his friends that you're his, so when they come visit they don't try anything funny

Would probably try to propose to you six months into the relationship. He figures you two are already gonna get married so why not trap you speed up the process and get it over with??

So after Maliks duel, yami yugi (I’m gonna call him just yami atm ‘Kay?) takes you with him and you’re 1) hella confused and 2) pissed because how dare he, YOUR BABEYS arch nemesis! take you away??

Maliks sees you figure disappearing behind the elevator doors and sees yami holding you and he’s pissed

Like, he’s boutta destroy yami and this entire blimp with his Egyptian god card kinda pissed

You’re trying to get out of yami’s grip telling him to let you go and that you want to go back to Malik

And bb’s so confused? Like, you want to go back to a raging psycho!?!?

You can just feel Maliks hatred from down the hall, and when he turns that corner, all he can see is Yami being forceful with you and the slight tears in your eyes and you struggling to get away from him.

All Malik sees is red

  Working for Marik was no easy feat, that was a fact. 

   Being one of his Rare Hunters, his right hand — only second to Odion, wasn’t a lovely position to be in when Marik was mad. But it was rewarding at times. Working for Marik would include.. 

ᥫ᭡ i.. Solace from his lectures. 

Marik isn’t known for his patience at all. He’s known for being persistent and resilient in his goals, but patience? He possesses little of it. So when his Rare Hunters inevitably fail him and demonstrate their own incompetence, you’re excused from it. He doesn’t direct any of his harsh statements at you and instead makes you seem as if you’re above all of them (which you are, at least to him.) 

‘These imbeciles drive me mad..’ he rubbed his temples to soothe his stress before he looked in your direction, ‘At least you never fail me.’ 

ᥫ᭡ ii.. Gifts from him. 

He’s quite the generous man, however, only to you (and Odion, when he feels like it). He doesn’t need others to know of his affections towards you — Especially since he’s got enemies who’d jump at the chance to get their hands on you to get to him. He gives you gold bracelets and earrings if you wear them. If you try to refuse them, he just places them in a place he knows you’ll find them. 

‘Lord Ishtar, you know I can’t accept this from you..’ 

He rolls his eyes and sets them on you once more. His hand is still out, the box holding the gold bracelet in his palm. ‘Take it will you? Think of this as a reward for actually doing your job.’ 

ᥫ᭡ iii.. Affection from him.

However, his affection is a little different. He does not make it obvious of his ‘soft spot’ for you in front of others, but if he likes you, you’ll feel it. You’ll feel it in the way that his gaze lingers on you after he dismisses you for a mission to retrieve his sacred cards. You’ll feel it in the way that small gold trinkets find themselves in your room as ‘rewards’ from him. But most of all, you’ll feel it in the way he is always reluctant to send you off on dangerous tasks despite knowing full well you can handle yourself just fine. 

ᥫ᭡ iv.. And finally, Distractions.

Marik is a villain for most of the series, sure. However, this does not take away from the fact that he’s got the playful personality of a teenager at times. If you’re focused on paperwork or scheming for an upcoming mission, this man does not leave you alone. 

‘You’ve been at it for hours, do you not get tired or something?’ He lifts a brow as he peers over your shoulder at your work. 

‘Do you never tire of lingering, Lord Ishtar?’ 

‘I’m not lingering..’ he murmurs under his breath.

Whether he’s looking over your shoulder at what your doing, messing with your hair or just asking you endless questions about nothing serious in particular — This man believes that your space is his space. Why would you want to be apart from him anyway?

Fine with any pet name you give him. Though the first time you call him something sweet his face flushes and the goofiest grin appears on his face.

His pet names are always themed with his past. He can't help it! On the brightside tho he says with such love an adoration that you love them each time he says it.

"My lilly" "My queen" "love" (not used as much) and for extreme measures of love "My Goddess/God"

He is also fine with any pet name you give him. The first time you called him babe he awnsered with his charming smile and fait blush.

Gosh what doesn't this man call you?? He loves pet names so much he can't stick to one for long. You are honestly waiting for the day he runs out of names just to see what he will come up with.

He doesn't mind what you call him. Honestly sometimes you guys make a game out of it, and see who can use all the pet names.

Like I said he isn't fan of the excessive pet names. He won't ever stop you from using them, but please be mindful of how often you use them.

Weird enough his is more fairytale themed. Something about the knigh and his prince/princess makes him giddy. He uses them only around you though.

He does it so often that you fall into the habit of calling him fairytale themed pet names. It oddly sometimes feel like your role playing, but that's okay.

He honestly much for pet names. He likes the sound of your name rolling of his lips more then pet names. Though he has been know to give a few simple ones.

"Love" "dear" are the only two that grace his vocabulary

He doesn't mind pet names, but he doesn't respond to them often. Not because he hates them but because he isn't use to it. So it will take him a bit to realize your talking to him.

He uses some of the sweetest cheesiest pet names you have ever heard. He just can't help especially when that blush he loves so much appears in your beautiful face.

He doesn't mind any pet name you give him as long as it's not mean. Poor boi would take I seriously and think your upset with him.

Hey so how do you think Joey and Marik would deal with a smol, feminine female s/o who they have never seen get into fist fights. S/o’s quite the pacifist actually. But what goes on with them both when they leave their s/o outside with (Marik’s bike/gift for Serenity). The boys go into a store and while they are gone. Someone tries stealing the gift/bike and s/o politely tells them not to touch the bike/gift because it’s their boyfriends. The thief starts leaving with the bike/gift. Joey/Marik leave the store and finds their s/o with a bruise on their forehead and the thief is worse for bruises and is handcuffed to a lamppost, s/o also stole the thief’s sunglasses, s/o treats this like there is not a man chained up and is like ”:D Hey. did you get the thing?”

Mark Ishtar

Traveling around as often as the two of you do means convenient stores are your go to for snacks, and miscellaneous things. So when Marik needed a pick-me-up he stopped at one promising to return quickly.

You simply nodded, and stood close to the bike scrolling through your phone. Unfortunately some man in a ski mask thought it would be great to take said bike.

You tried to be nice and calm about it telling him that belong to your boyfriend, and if he was quick he could walk away and you would pretend it would never happened. Once again unfortunately for you the man didn't listen.

You grabbed his wrist, but the man was quick to throw a punch to your cheek. It didn't hurt but the audacity he had pissed you off.

So with quick movements you kick his feet out from Under him before throwing a harder punch to his face effectively knocking him out. You tied his hands to a pole with an extra scarf before Marik finally walked out.

When he saw the scene in front of him he was quick to be at your side fussing over the new bruise on your cheek. You giggled swatting his hands away.

"I'm fiiine he probably needs more medical assistance, but did you get what you needed?"

This man is shocked hell floored even. He didn't realize you had such a punch, but honestly he is kinda glad. He fear with all the traveling if something could happen to you when he wasn't around.

However with a punch like that he slightly more relieved, but now determined to teach you more

Joey Wheeler

The man lives on convenient store foods. It's honestly a bad habit that he wants to break, but it's so hard when it's easy and so good. So when the two of you stop at one on your way home you weren't surprised. He handed you a gift Serenity had give to him asking you to hold on it for him.

You agreed and stood outside waiting for Joey to come back. Not long after a man wearing a red ski mask comes up to demanding the thing in your hands. You calmly try to explain to him that it isn't yours and he needs to walk away.

Unfortunately this wasn't taking for an awnser as he tried to wrestle the object out of yours hand elbowing you in the process.

Not wanting to lose your boyfriends precious gift you kneed the man in the stomach hard making him drop to the ground, and with one swift kick you knocked the man out.

When Joey walked out you had finished tying the guy to pole with an old cord you found and picked up the gift once more.

"HOLY SHIT BABE YOU OKAY?!"

Joey began fussing over the bruise you gain from wrestling with the man but you just brushed him off with a smile and handed him his gift.

He was floored by how calm you were. Holy Ra are you a badass! Now he is determined to show you more moves so shit like this is less likely to happen.

You scared him a bit when you first met. You constantly held a glare, your demeanor seemed rough, and you just seemed ready to attack at any moment.

However, the more the two of you interacted the more he saw the softerside of you.

Always making food for everyone at lunch, helping with homework, and feeding the stray cats on your home.

On top of that all when Kiba came around calling everyone names you stood up for them, and even beat him in duel to prove your point.

He became less scared of you, and more in love. He loved the softer caring side of you, and the tough protective side of you.

Yami/Atem

He wasn't scared of you, but he was weary. Your intimidating auro made him wonder who's side you were really on, or if you would hurt his friends.

You changed his mind, when you took his place during a shadow realm match with Yami Bakura.

He watched you fight hard to protect his friends and himself, and that made him fight twice as hard to get you back from the realm.

After he made it his goal to get to know you better, and he was rewarded with the softerside of you. The side you try to hide. The sweet smiles when you see something cute, the soft coos to kittens, and the food you make with love.

Gods he was down bad now.

Joey Wheeler

He was never scared of you just slightly intimated. He has seen you stare down the biggest meanest bully in school, and scare the poor bastered away.

Though he knew you didn't hold malice to him and his friends, because he notice you glares soften when you saw them, or the longing stares thrown at them when they laugh and play Duel monsters.

So he invited you to hang out with them. Everyone was unsure at first startled by your appearance, but as you slowly started opening up to them they did the same.

You became of the protectors of the group, and he honestly loved it.

Tristan Taylor

Much like joey he wasnt scared by, just in his guard. He has heard the rumors of what you have done, and doesnt want the same to happen to his friends.

However, he later learned that his assumptions were wrong. Even if you seemed hostile didnt mean that you were.

While him and joey were goofing off somewhere, the local bully decided it was time for Yugi to get his just desserts and if it wasnt for the fact that you were there it would have happened.

Since then you've been apart of their little group helping him and joey protect the others from whatever the world threw out them.

It was your strength and love that one him over.

Duke Devlin

He would never admit it to anyone,but you didnt scare him when he met you. Everything about you seem hostile and he didnt want anything to do with it.

Fate is a funny thing though, as you walked into his shop mid robbery. When you first walked in he didnt if he wanted you to run and get authorities or scare the guy off.

He didnt have time to decided before you already disarmed the man, and scared him out of the shop. Placing the weapon on the counter you continued your shopping without a word.

It was awkward at first, but the two of became really close friends. He helped you improve in dungeon dice monsters, and in return you helped around the shop.

Though he could feel something more growing.

Seto Kaiba

He was never scared of you, but his little brother was so he kept you as far from him as possible.

However they were soon changing their song and dance when your protected Mokuba.

Another group was trying to kidnap the young Kiba for leverage against the young CEO. Unfortunately for them you were nearby at the time and was quick to protect him.

Afterwards not only were you voluntold to become some sort of bodyguard for mokuba, but they were the only one whoever saw your soft side.

You became a soft, but rough older sister to mokuba. While to Seto you became more then a friend. Not that he will ever admit it.

Bakura Ryou

He was a mix of fear and curiosity. You seemed as intimidating as his Yami, yet you didn't do anything mean or evil?? It was quite perplexing to him.

So he took it upon on himself to get to know you better. He would constantly hang around you, or trying to talk to you more.

Oddly enough you were able to keep his Yami in check when he made unexpected visits.

Over time he got to see a side of you that surprised him. The soft caring side is what really drew him in. It was a side you kept well protected, and he wanted to help you protect such a precious side.

Yami Bakura

He was never afraid of you, in fact he saw you a valuable pawn. If everyone was weary of you that would leave you isolated, and thus perfect for him to take advantage.

You became a sort of spy for him, while he wasn't the the host of Bakura's body you would observe everyone, then report to him later that night.

You spent a lot time together, and he slowly found himself having a soft spot for you. So he would send you to do less dangerous things.

Maybe he was the one who has been isolated for so long...

Marik Ishtar

Being a retainer of his family was never easy, hell being in his family wasn't easy. However your tough exterior made it slightly easier.

Enemies wouldn't come near the young Ishtar, and if they tried you were ready for anything.

And while that's what everyone saw Marik saw something else. He saw the soft looks you gave him when you helped him recover, the smiled you would give him giving him his food, and the way you turned a blind eye when him and his sister went outside.

He came to adore your softside and wanted nothing more then to see it everyday. So he kept you by his side. As a retainer, and hopefully wife.

Yami Marik

He is a mixture of Yami Bakura and Marik. He sees you as a very useful pawn, but he also took notice of your soft side.

At first he used it against you. He would hold the well being of Marik over your head to allow him to get away with much.

However aterawhile that died down. He would still use you for tasks he couldn't do himself, but they were never dangerous. Just scouting really and you eventually opened up to him as well.

You were no longer a pawn and maybe just maybe having a queen/king like you wouldn't be so bad
