What's your favourite fic you've read this year?

Aw man, this is tough, only because this is the first year in a long time that I've consistently read fics that aren't solely YGO - so, if we're going by categories, I'd break them down as such (I'm about to expose myself so hard, oh dear):

Fav YGO fic: Let's Ditch by @micheladee (long-fic angstshipping fluffy and angsty goodness in equal measure, yes please!!)

Fav fic from an old flame: And So Kyoya Met Him! (Again) by poodlepunk (if you're a TamaKyo fan like me and enjoy future fics, this one's for you)

Fav fic from a new fandom: chaos theory by sarsaparillia (I'm on the SpyxFamily / TwiYor train full steam ahead and I can't get off, y'all)

Fav fic from a "guilty pleasure": Tiny Morty by messofthejess (... look, I have a soft spot for hard-nosed characters being undone by cute kids haha)

Shout-out of the year: @frumplebump (because all of their works make me feel five million emotions and are so well-written :D)

And Tiny Zemo throws what you hope to be pudding at Tiny Enakhra but missed and hits you in the face.

They’re ALL GROUNDED. Separately. Additionally Tiny Zarosians are on one side of the house, Tiny Zamorakians another, and Tiny Sliske is under the combined guard of the WG’s broav, their rune guardian, Kipple Nano, and Tiny Kharshai, who is the only Tiny Mahjarrat to not get into the whole damn mess.

Then, of course, the Tiny Escape Plots begin.

And then Tiny Sliske would throw toy dragons at Tiny Lucien and steal it, and Tiny Lucien would chase Tiny Sliske around the house, and when the World Guardian comes home the whole damn place is a disaster area and the cats and dog are hiding in the larder together, being defended from the Tiny Mahjarrat destruction by Kipple Nano.

Tiny Sliske and Lucien are both grounded and the World Guardian puts the Tiny Stone of Jas on the highest shelf.
