So…why did you choose me instead?” Marius tilts his head, seemingly bewildered. “Do you not think you’re beautiful?” “I—what?” Luke loses his train of thought at those words. “Here’s why I chose you, Luke,” Marius stands to slowly circle around where Luke sat, his long tail trailing behind him. He peers at Luke, as if staring into his very soul. “You bewitch me.” - Luke is a knight sworn to serve the kingdom of Stellis no matter what it takes. Marius is a dragon with whom the kingdom is making an alliance with. Marius agrees to the alliance on the condition that the kingdom provide him with a mate, and he chooses our dear knight for the role. (Or: Luke takes up the honorable task of getting dicked down by a dragon. For diplomacy.) [Written for MariLuke Week 2024 - Day 7: FREE DAY]
