Day 1 - First Encounter How did you first meet your partner? Did it go well? How did you find out you were destined for greatness?

Yayyy Tamersona week again! To recap from last year, my main partner is Quartzmon, pictured in his fanmade rookie form Rolexmon on my shoulder there. But this year Digimon released a new design that I fell absolutely in love with, so MarinChimairamon has been added to my partner list!

I wouldn’t say we’re destined for greatness but we sure are destined to be a minor inconvenience to other DigiDestined.

It’s time for some family friendly bonding time with a Digimon Partner. Headcanons for Marin Chimairamon swimming with his tamer, please?

MarinChimairamon is, of course, very at home in the water, loving any time that you both are close to it and deciding to go for a swim or simply playing a little bit before heading out

He likes to be playful with you when you go swimming, although very careful as to not be too rough -- sometimes gently grabbing your leg between his claws and playfully tugging you under the water, letting go the second you're submerged and surfacing, giving a soft laugh about it and apologizing if it was too much

MarinChimairamon will also allow you climb onto his back and simply swim around, maybe go for a quick deep-dive into the water. Depending on if you're in the Digital World or the Real World, the laws of the water is different. In the Real World, he's more careful and listens for if you need to surface for air. In the Digital World you both can stay underwater for as long as you like, so long as you believe you can breathe underwater.

He likes the Real World a lot more, being able to see all those different kinds of fishes (and... probably wanting to eat/spear them, too) and just how it is compared to the Digital World. The Real World just has so many wonders, especially under the water!

If you're hungry, that's the first thing on his mind. He's certainly going to try and catch the Best kinds of fish for you that he'll cook later, since you didn't like it when he tried just giving you a raw fish the first time he speared some for the two of you.

He also likes to sit on the sand and sunbathe with you if you're both tired after swimming. As much as MarinChimairamon could go for ages swimming around, he likes to lay beside you whenever you get tired and want to get out, resting in the sun with some parts of him still in the water to keep him feeling decent.

MarinChimairamon just loves to swim around with you. Be it swimming beside you, making waves so you can have some fun with that, or having you on his back. He likes to show off his speed with you on his back, jumping out of the water every now and again just to have some bit of fun.

He also likes to splash you with water with the tentacles that protrude from his back, giving a playful smile every time. Chase him if you dare, you'll never catch him!
