Bandai Japan Announces Tamagotchi Sanrio Characters & Marine Change TamaSma Cards
This summer is about to be great! You knew it was coming! Bandai Japan created all those beautiful Tamagotchi Sanrio characters not only for the 2022 Sanrio Character Ranking Contest, but of course for the new Sanrio TamaSma Card! Oh yea, and there is even a new Marine Change TamaSma Card that you’re going to love!
First, Bandai Japan announced the Sanrio Characters TamaSma Card, this card will plug right into your existing Tamagotchi Smart and you’ll get a hold of Sanrio goodness! All of the collaboration characters you’ve seen Bandai Japan post on the official Tamagotchi social media channels are featured. Including the Hello Kitty Mametchi, Little Twin Stars Weeptchi, Pompompurin Kuchipatchi, and more! It actually appears that they have Sanrio’d all of the ten default characters for this TamaSma Card.
You’ll be able to raise these Sanrio characters, and visit some more too. You can see Badtz-Maru making an appearance in one of the screenshots. TamaSma Card even includes Sanrio accessories and living spaces. How adorable is that Hello Kitty vanity?
The exclusive meals include a strawberry box, kitty sandwich, eggs, and Kuromi soup. The snacks include Melody ice cream, Cinnamon cup, heart apple, and tingling cotton candy. Accessories include a hat with a large blue box and stars, a strawberry book, red bow purse, and good friend balloons!
Four new living spaces with this TamaSma Card. These include Kitty Living, Pudding Living, Hoshino Living, and Kaminari Living.
Of course there are new watch faces, three total! They all feature adorable Sanrio characters and the color scheme you’d expect!
There is an exclusive mini game which is called Kitty Coordination. It looks like you will be dressing up Hello Kitty in a fashionable, and coordinated outfit!
The Sanrio TamaSma Card will be released on Saturday June 4th, 2022 in Japan for ¥1,496 with tax included.
Secondly, Bandai Japan has announced yet another TamaSma Card, the Marine Change TamaSma Card will take you under the sea! This will come just in time for summer, and we’re so excited for it! Simply insert the TamaSma Card into your existing Tamagotchi Smart, and you’ll be taken under the sea!
All ten Tamagotchi Smart characters have been transformed into their marine looks.. We still cannot get over how adorable Mametchi, Wawatchi, and Gaogaltchi look!
Exclusive meals include seashell lunch, otoshigo sandwich, kaiso salad, and dolphin curry. Snacks include marine parfait, pearl sesame, jellyfish jelly, and a blue pie. The items include a mermaid stitch, seashell set, Tama submarine, and a pink vase.
Accessories include a coral reef headpiece, starfish headpiece, jelly fish hat, and a conch hat. How fabulous is that?
Of course three new watch faces which are all marine themed and will be perfect to rock this summer on your Tamagotchi Smart.
The mini game is titled “Martine Taxi” looks so cute, you will transport a customer to their destination while avoiding shellfish and coral. Sounds like crazy taxi, but in the ocean!
Bandai Japan does not call out the four wallpapers we would expect to see, but you can see them in some of the screenshots provided, and we must say they are super on point with the marine theme.
The launch date for the Marine Change TamaSma Card is Saturday, July 16th, 2022 in Japan for ¥1,496 with tax included.
