Charlotte's ghost is trapped in the emotions of rage and pain. Rage at the people who have failed her and let her down. Pain from her death and the ones who caused it. All of her previous vessels, such as Abby and Lisa, seem to have lost all control when Charlotte takes over.

What if it's because Charlotte's emotion is so strong, that it overpowers theirs? Impossible to fight back, when you've never dealt with something with that scale and intensity. But then, Vanessa is different. Because Vanessa understands Charlotte's pain, and she understands her rage. Both of them have suffered at the hands of the same man, and been failed and dismissed by the people around them.

Instead of overpowering her, the two meld, into something even more wrathful, but more focused. Clarity in targets, aiming directly for the people who have wronged them, instead of lashing out at the nearest adult-shaped obstacle.

Vanessa and Charlotte don't want to make their fathers proud. They want to make them suffer.
