wario || mario party 2 ; face lift
Now I remember my SM64DS headcanons, some of them:
> The boys switched often between all going into a world at once, splitting up on their own and splitting into teams. Mario had the best chance in boss-type stars; Luigi handled jumping and cannon challenges best; Wario did best with red coin and silver star missions; and Yoshi got basically everything else.
> Like in-game, wearing somebody’s cap allowed the wearer to change into that person. This is due to the influence of the Power Stars. However, the person’s eyes will look the same no matter what.
> Luigi is the one who had to take care of the baby penguin mission. Yoshi couldn’t properly carry it, and so eating it was the best secondary solution (not really); Mario had horrible luck with the little girl and was deemed an unsafe guardian; and Wario did what every gamer in the universe did and tried to drop her off the edge of the universe.
> Wario died. Frequently. Mario came in second for most death, followed by Yoshi. Luigi was the luckiest of them in this regard. That said, at least a third of Mario’s deaths were because Wario decided to be a jerk.
> Wario is afraid of heights; which made aerial missions and a number of entire worlds difficult for him to function in. He insisted on staying in more water-based levels or ones that don’t involve endless dives of death into the sky.
> When Yoshi is taking the form of one of the plumbers, he doesn’t speak; he communicates primarily through gestures and facial expressions.
> Imagine Luigi-as-Mario trying to act all confident and tough like his brother. Imagine Mario-as-Luigi appreciating the low-key silence that he rarely gets.
> ...Also imagine Wario-as-either-Mario-brother acting like a complete jerk/dork.
...I have certain headcanons on how Super Mario 64/DS went down in-universe.
And the moment I go to post these doodles I forget all of them immediately.
I don’t remember how to draw any of these guys. :’) I need to relearn how to mesh their designs with my style- it was a lot easier before. So far I’ve been going for a semi-chibi thing? I don’t know how to draw Yoshi at all.
They are fun to draw regardless, though. =u=
