You know, I did wonder about Alex a tiny bit, cause in early June he was looking disheveled and just not too well, but I didn't think too much... well I didn't /want/ to think too much into it, because it is his privacy and people should respect it. But NO ONE should have anything private like that thrown into the spotlight like that. It reminds me of how almost two years ago he was pressured into publicly apologizing because his girlfriend assaulted him. It's not right.
Obviously I don’t follow Chucky closely enough to notice his general appearance, hell, I only follow instagram through what get’s reposted on Tumblr or Twitter. My friend was all, ‘How could he be in rehab twice this summer, he was posting stuff all the damned time?’
I’m just - horrified that this ass Tremblay has broken confidentiality and told people about this. Look, if Chucky’s got a substance prob, he knows it and has gone for help. He’s not denying it like Ribero did. But Tremblay’s fucking ruined him. This could be such a blow to Chucky’s career. How can the Habs trade him if it’s true? Bad enough how they are playing him, devaluing him as a player by making him fourth line - it’s like the want him to be so miserable, I don’t know why. They are probably stuck with him. But another team isn’t going to want to pay for a free agent or trade for a guy who’s probably a ticking bomb of issues. The rumour Tremblay’s started is bad enough. If it winds up being true, it’ll follow AGally the rest of his career.
I hope the Habs use their power for good for once, and make sure Mario Tremblay never works media in Montreal again, and stays the fuck away from the Habs. I hope he’s a journalistic bottom-feeder the rest of his life. At the very least I hope they sue his ass. He had no right. The NHL promised Chucky confidentiality, and Tremblay’s made them look like incompetent (again) assholes whose can’t back up their promises.
