General DDC Scoring Strats (Marisa B Edition)

I personally prefer Marisa B to Sakuya B but I’ll make a post like this for both. Not much more exposition to be done so I’ll get into it:

Bomb. A lot. More than Sakuya B even. And be sure to get your bonuses from the conversion into power. You’ll regain them through various methods anyway, so you might as well use them. You still gain green score so there’s nothing to worry about there.

Take advantage of your DPS. You’re playing the strongest B shot in the game, USE IT! Try to generally be more aggressive, as you can speedkill spellcards and get the spell bonuses without minimizing them (unlike as Sakuya B, where it’s inevitable).

Graze a bit more too. Though the bombspamming also does wonders for your PIV, it never hurts to get more. They both have bigger grazeboxes (won’t make a strat post for Reimu just because of that) but I’d say since you get less i-frames during your bomb and get way less PIV from it too, this will definitely help.

And that’s pretty much it. I’ll go over some strats that appeal more to Sakuya B in another post and some even more general strats that can apply to a broader range of shottypes and scoring in general too. And I promise this won’t be this amount of scoring-focused in the future. Till then, adieu~!
