Are sam's triplet sisters based on the cards in Dr.Facilier's hand in the original movie where he talks about the past, present, and future inside the cards? Or are they based on something completely different? ( sorry for the loaded question)

First, they were related to specific tarot cards, but later this changed (The Moon- Luna(?)) . When I thought how many sisters it had to be, I said: "AH IT HAS TO BE 3, THE NUMBER OF PERFECTION"(?)… everything else came later.

Trio 27 takes the symbology and cosmology of the Number 3, which is extremely extensive - related to concepts such as Spirit, Mind, Body / Past, Present, Future / Beginning, Middle, End -. In general, the Trio imply a transformation, thats the role.
